Logan County Jail Mugshots Overview
The county's current roster route is the free Logan County Sheriff's Office app. The official corrections page says to download the app to view the inmate roster, and the same app path leads to Inmate Services for JailATM functions. The official county site does not publish a standalone booking-photo gallery or daily mugshot feed on the public web.
The legacy Miami Valley Jails page should not be used as the current mugshot source. It shows the Logan County Sheriff's Office provider offline since 2022 and returned no Logan County records during research. The correct approach is app first, jail phone second, then a records request if a booking photo or related record is needed.

A booking photo may appear in a current roster profile if the sheriff app exposes it. Are Logan County Mugshots Public
Ohio's public-record framework starts with records kept by public offices being open unless an exemption applies. Jail and booking records are evaluated under that framework. The county report-copy page also says copy charges may apply, but it does not publish a detailed fee table.

How Long Mugshots Stay
Official Logan County web sources do not publish a roster retention period or a release-to-removal rule for app booking photos. Treat the app as a current-custody roster, not a permanent photo archive. A person who has bonded out, been released, or transferred may no longer appear in the app even if the underlying booking record still exists in sheriff files.
For older photos, use the sheriff report-copy process instead of the stale Miami Valley provider or third-party sites. Provide a full name, approximate arrest or booking date, and any known case number so the records custodian can locate the file.
Mugshot Removal in Ohio
Ohio's commercial mugshot fee ban targets publishers that solicit or accept payment to remove, correct, modify, or refrain from publishing criminal-record information. It does not create a blanket right to force the sheriff to remove a public booking record while the record remains public. The practical route after dismissal or eligible disposition is the court record first, then any needed follow-up with the sheriff or sites still displaying old information.
Sealing or expungement issues belong in the court file under ORC Chapter 2953. After a court grants relief, request correction or suppression of affected records from the agencies and publishers that still show them. Do not pay a site that demands a removal fee for criminal-record information.
Mugshots vs Court Records
A mugshot is a booking photo. It does not prove guilt, and it does not show the final court result. The filed charge, amended charge, dismissal, plea, conviction, or sentence appears in the court docket. Use Logan County court records after jail arrest for case status and disposition.

State Federal Mugshot Limits
ODRC may show offender photos in state-prison records when available, but those are prison-offender records, not Logan County booking mugshots. BOP and U.S. Marshals public tools generally do not publish federal mugshots through the BOP locator. ICE ODLS is a detainee locator, not a photo gallery.
